Want to include stickers in a children’s activity book? Add a limited-edition sticker bonus to a graphic novel? Or bundle stickers inside a tabletop game box? Our Added Stickers option lets you print sticker sheets (and, in some cases, individual die-cut stickers) as a custom add-on to your larger book or game manufacturing project.
This article walks through what’s possible, what’s not, and the key decisions that affect manufacturing, packaging, and pricing.
What “Added Stickers” Includes
Sticker sheets are the standard offering and can be produced as an additional component alongside your book or game. Depending on your project, you may also be able to request:
- Individual die-cut stickers (subject to approval during quoting)
- Special finishes like lamination, Spot UV, metallic ink/spot color, and foil stamping (must be added during quoting)
Stickers are a great fit when you want to increase perceived value, encourage interaction (especially in kids’ products), or create a collectible “bonus” component without redesigning the core content.
Important Manufacturing Limits (Read This First)
Before planning your layout, there are a few hard rules:
- No sticker-sheet-only production. Sticker sheets can only be printed in addition to a book/game project.
- Minimum recommended sheet size: 4” x 4”.
- Die-cut stickers are optional, not automatic. If you want individual die-cuts, the shape and size must be approved during the quoting process.
If your goal is “stickers only,” this add-on won’t fit—this option is designed specifically for projects that already include printed components.
Stock and Material Options
Sticker sheets use a standard stock unless you request something different:
- Standard sticker sheet stock: approximately 55lb (not including the base paper)
- If you want a different stock, you’ll need to connect with your Account Manager to confirm availability and compatibility with your project
If your sticker sheet needs a specific feel (thicker, more premium, more flexible) or a particular finish behavior (like how foil stamps perform), flag it early—material choices can affect both cost and feasibility.
Size Matters More Than You Think (Especially for Games)
Sticker sheets don’t exist in a vacuum—their size can impact your entire package.
For game projects
Packaging is typically calculated around the largest lay-flat component. So if you have:
- Cards and an accordion insert at 2.5” x 3.5”
- But you add a sticker sheet at 5” x 5”
…the box may need to be sized for the sticker sheet, because it’s now the largest flat component. That can increase material usage, shipping volume, and overall cost.
If you’re trying to keep your box compact, make sure your sticker sheet size supports that goal.
Binding a Sticker Sheet into a Book
Sticker sheets can sometimes be bound into a book, but placement isn’t always “where you want it.”
- Sticker-sheet placement is determined by your finalized specs and manufacturing requirements
- The exact location you imagined may not be possible based on binding structure and production constraints
The best approach is:
- Finalize your book specs first
- Then ask your Account Manager where the sticker sheet can be bound within those constraints
This avoids late-stage changes and prevents surprises after you’ve already designed the interior flow.
Premium Upgrades and Specialty Finishes
Want stickers that feel like a collector’s item? You can request:
- Lamination
- Spot UV
- Metallic ink / Spot color
- Foil stamping
These are not default options—if you want them, you’ll need to request them during quoting so they’re included in your project estimate and production plan.
Best Practice for Book Projects: Shrinkwrap When Separate
If the sticker sheet is not bound into the book and will ship as a separate component, we strongly recommend:
- Shrinkwrapping the bound book and the sticker sheet together
This keeps the set intact, reduces fulfillment headaches, and prevents the sticker sheet from getting separated during shipping or retail handling.
Pricing: How This Add-On Is Quoted
Added stickers are priced as a custom add-on, which means pricing isn’t “click-to-buy.” To get accurate pricing:
- Save your quote
- Contact your Account Manager
- Include your PRN# and request that Added Stickers be included in the quote
That’s the route to get sticker sheets (and any special finishes) correctly reflected in your project pricing.

Artwork Setup Guide
An Artwork Setup Guide should be followed for correct file prep and production-ready outputs (dimensions, bleed, safe zones, and any special finish callouts). If you’re planning specialty finishes like Spot UV or foil, make sure you mention it early so your files can be structured appropriately.
