At PrintReviewer, our job is simple: help you order printed products that look professional in real life, not just on a product page.
This editorial policy explains how we choose what to review, how we keep recommendations independent, and how we correct the record when something changes.
Last updated: January 8, 2026
Our mission
We publish reviews and comparisons of online print services—business cards, stickers, invitations, marketing materials, and related products—so you can make a confident buying decision without wasting money on “premium upgrades” that don’t deliver.
Independence and conflicts of interest
Our editorial decisions are not for sale.
- We do not accept payment in exchange for positive coverage, rankings, or “best of” placements.
- If a relationship exists that could reasonably be seen as a conflict (ownership, employment, financial interest, family relationship, etc.), we disclose it clearly on the relevant page.
Ownership disclosure: PrintReviewer.com is owned/operated by PrintReviewer.
How we choose what to review
We select companies and products based on:
- Reader interest (common search questions and purchase intents)
- Category coverage (major providers + notable specialists)
- Meaningful differences (materials, finishes, quality consistency, pricing structure, turnaround reliability)
- Changes worth retesting (new stocks, new finishes, new production methods, major policy shifts)
We may revisit older comparisons when the market changes or when a vendor meaningfully updates their offering.
What we do and don’t accept
We do:
- Place real orders where possible (often using standard configurations a typical buyer would choose)
- Compare what arrives against what the product page promises
- Update content when products, policies, or pricing structures materially change
We don’t:
- Guarantee that every order will match every reader’s exact use case (different files, finishes, shipping destinations, and batches can affect outcomes)
- Claim any vendor is “perfect” (printing is manufacturing—variation happens)
Affiliate links and referral tracking
Some pages may include affiliate/referral links. If you click a link and buy, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you.
Affiliate relationships do not determine rankings, ratings, or whether a company is included. If a page includes affiliate links, we will disclose it on that page.
Advertising and sponsored content
If we run ads or accept sponsorships, we separate them from editorial decisions.
- Sponsored content is labeled as sponsored.
- Editorial content is written and ranked independently.
Product samples and press access
If we ever receive a product sample (for example, a vendor offers a sample pack), we disclose that on the page. Sample access does not guarantee coverage and does not influence rankings.
Fact-checking and source standards
We aim to be accurate about:
- Specs (paper weight, thickness, coating types, size standards, templates/bleed requirements)
- Policies (shipping windows, proofing, returns, reprints)
- Pricing (base price vs. realistic cart total with shipping and common upgrades)
When we cite third-party information (like vendor specs), we prefer primary sources (vendor documentation) and will update if the source changes.
Updates, corrections, and removals
Printing vendors change. So do prices, materials, and policies. We maintain a clear update process:
- Important posts may include a “Last updated” line.
- If we materially change a recommendation, we update the page and adjust language accordingly.
- If we make a factual error, we correct it promptly and note the correction when appropriate.
